KOIN-TV, Portland’s CBS affiliate, welcomed Portland Japanese Garden’s staff on their morning show, AM Extra to discuss the return of the Garden’s beloved annual summer marketplace, Behind the Shoji. Speaking to how Portland Japanese Garden not only is a world-class garden, but also a cultural organization, anchor Travis Teich noted, “It’s absolutely beautiful, very much an oasis. But you really do tie in all aspects of [Japanese] culture.”
