Portland Japanese Garden has much to celebrate as 2023 is the year the Garden turns 60-years-old! Back in 1963, a group of community leaders interested in healing the wounds of World War II created this garden of tranquility and peace, designed to bring a better understanding of Japan, its culture, and its people. 60 years later, it has become so much more.
