Join Portland Japanese Garden for our second estate planning workshop of the year, Seeds of Peace: Coping and Communicating in Times of Grief and Loss with Amy Florian. This session is open to our Golden Crane Recognition Society, Garden Members, and Volunteers.
Life is often disrupted in ways we never imagined. Personal losses, unexpected crises, and a world marked by volatility can leave us feeling uncertain, emotional, and overwhelmed. In this session, you’ll learn to recognize the complex layer of losses that generate emotions, gain skills for communicating with true compassion during times of grief, stress, and transition, and discover coping strategies that nurture peace and resilience. We intend for you to walk away with insights and tools that help you and those you care about grow stronger, healthier, and more harmonious, both now and in the future.
