Join us to celebrate your generosity as a member of our Phoenix Legacy Society, and to learn about the art of chabana (flower centerpieces for Japanese tea ceremonies). You’ll hear from tea ceremony expert Jan Waldmann, one of Portland Japanese Garden’s valued cultural partners. Click here to learn more about Waldmann.

You will have the opportunity to watch a demonstration of chabana before creating your own arrangement, which you will be able to take and display in your home.

Plated hors d’oeuvres and tea sweets will be served along with your tea. Please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions.
