A special treat will be offered to Garden visitors this weekend by the Oregon Camellia Society. As has become an annual tradition, the society will present an informally judged flower show of the same sort of lovely Asian camellias that you’ll see in bloom throughout the Garden.
Scores of flowers, from miniature to massive and in just as many shapes, colors, and patterns will be on display in the Garden’s Yanai Classroom. Exhibits of camellia culture, art, and history will also be featured and society members will be present to answer your questions about Camellia care.
While at the exhibition, don’t miss horticulturalist Robert Herald lead a visual exploration of camellias on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31, both held from 1-2pm at the Garden’s Cultural Corner.
This once-a-year botanical treat is included with Garden admission.
