Hokkaido Pottery Society member, Yuko Maeno, will introduce the talk. Artist Yoshiaki Mikami will speak about his work, technique, inspiration, and artistic goals. This event is in conjunction with the newest Art in the Garden exhibition: Northern Lights: Ceramic Art of Hokkaido Revisited.

This talk will be held in the Pavilion at Portland Japanese Garden.
