Japanese Garden Workshops: Maple Pruning and Bamboo Fence – Kew

Start the morning with a lecture and demonstration on maple and pine tree pruning, followed by a hands-on pruning workshop with Sadafumi Uchiyama, Chief Curator and Hugo Torii, Garden Curator from Portland Japanese Garden in Portland, Oregon (U.S.). After lunch, learn about the variety of bamboo fences and participate in a hands-on fence building experience.
