Lecture topic: The Other Camellias

Camellias are a familiar sight in Portland. Their large, beautiful blooms are beautiful, however, some people don’t care for the cleanup they associate with these blooms.  Fortunately there a number of Camellias species from China, Taiwan, and the islands off of Japan that are small flowered, cluster blooming, and frequently scented. This talk will be about these “other camellias”, with a focus on those that do well in the Portland area.
