From Oregon ArtsWatch: SoundsTruck NW brings Game-Changing Venue to Portland Japanese Garden

Oregon ArtsWatch writer and critic James Bash attended a recent event held at Portland Japanese Garden in July, Celebrating the Japanese-French Connection, in which the Garden partnered with SoundsTruck NW to bring a first-of-its-kind musical concert to the Garden. Bash was highly complimentary of the performance presented by SoundsTruck NW, a mobile music venue that presents ensemble music and family-oriented programming into neighborhoods, nature, and institutions.  “It seems improbable that anyone or anything could improve upon the beauty of the Portland Japanese Garden, the acclaimed garden located within Washington Park in the West Hills of the Rose City–but SoundsTruck NW, the Pacific Northwest’s new mobile performance venue, accomplished that feat with an inspiring concert of Japanese and French music on July 5,” Bash wrote.
