Portland Tribune journalist Joseph Gallivan visited Portland Japanese Garden last week to check out our newest art exhibition, Gifts From Japan: A Horticultural Tale Told Through Botanical Art. Gallivan spoke with Assistant Director of Exhibitions Sarah Kate Nomura about the incredibly detailed botanical illustrations as well as some of the historic artifacts that reveal the story of Japanese flora and the people who shared them with the world.
