“You’ll applaud the execution of the Suteki house. Rooms facing the backyard completely open to a yellow cedar deck and landscaping designed by Sadafumi Uchiyama, Curator of Portland Japanese Garden,” The Oregonian, July 2017
World-renowned architect Kengo Kuma’s Cultural Village at Portland Japanese Garden has transformed the landscape with a beautiful harmony of garden and structures. That same sense of harmony pervades the Suteki House, which was designed by Kuma for the 2017 NW Natural Street of Dreams in Happy Valley and which is complemented with a garden designed by Sadafumi Uchiyama, Curator of Portland Japanese Garden.
Now you can both live in one of Kengo Kuma’s residential creations and support Portland Japanese Garden. The Suteki Corporation has offered to make a generous contribution to Portland Japanese Garden if any introduction by the Garden results in a sale.
