Few things are lovelier than the Garden ablaze with fall color. But when do the leaves actually start to change? Factors like temperature, light, and water ensure that the onset and duration of fall colors are difficult to predict perfectly.
As of the second week in October, most of the Garden is still green. However, shades of yellow, orange, and red are beginning to make scattered appearances. Our famous Japanese Maple has not yet reached peak fall colors. Visit our website or follow us on social media throughout the season as we update the Garden’s progress into autumn.
