Groups of 15 or more can arrange to have a private guided tour of the Garden with a trained volunteer guide. Reservations for private guided tours must be made at least three weeks in advance of your desired tour date. Although we make every attempt to accommodate our visitors, we cannot guarantee your first choice of date and time will be available, so please be sure to include at least one alternative date and time in your request.

Our tour guides speak Japanese, Spanish, Italian, French and Mandarin. Let us know if your group would like a tour in another language.
Portland Japanese Garden is pleased to offer docent led tours with American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation upon request. We ask for a minimum of five individuals in your group to accommodate a private tour. Please include details in the About You section in the request form below if you would like us to arrange ASL interpretation as part of your tour experience.
