Celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend, bring your loved ones to enjoy tea with full service in traditional ceramic wares, paired with handcrafted seasonal sweets at the Umami Café. Sip & Swoon is a special and exclusive way to experience the Garden in its winter beauty.

Reservations and Daily Admission Tickets are required for this event, with limited seating available. There will be four seatings each day: 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

The special menu for this event will feature Valentine’s desserts by Mio’s Delectables and St. Honore.

Reminiscent of Kyoto’s legendary Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the Umami Café floats over a scenic hillside and offers enchanting views of Washington Park. Guests can relax in the warmth of the Café while enjoying thoughtfully presented tea service, unique flavor combinations, and excellent table service from our dedicated staff.
