The Bonsai Society of Portland (BSOP) will hold its annual Bonsai Exhibition in Portland Japanese Garden’s new Cultural Village on April 22 and 23. The show will include dozens of bonsai from members’ private collections, including several world-class examples of this ancient art form. The exhibition will include coniferous, deciduous, fruiting, and flowering species, ranging in size from three-foot-tall specimens to tiny shohin trees small enough to hold in the palm of your hand. There will also be live demonstrations where visitors can ask questions and watch Society Members at work.
