Café Floating on the Hill

Renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma’s design moves our admission gate to the base of the hill and transforms the area above the parking lot into a Cultural Village with a floating, cantilevered Tea Café hanging over the hill path. The Umami Café will serve authentic Japanese tea and provide a spot for visitors to rest and refresh.
