The spring 2021 issue of the Bilingual Newsletter celebrates the arrival of spring which brings lightness, joy, and renewal to the season. In the spirit of new beginnings, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of two key Garden leaders and the evolution of Portland Japanese Garden, called The Japan Institute. While we look ahead, we’re also reflecting on the 10 year anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami through a new documentary exhibition called, “The Gates of Hope“.
