The opening art exhibition in The Year of Peace, which has been dedicated to honoring the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has been featured in the magazine “Portland Monthly.” Ishiuchi Miyako’s monumental, unadorned photography of belongings left behind by victims of the Hiroshima bombing, Spirits Rising: ひろしま/hiroshima, will be available in the Pavilion Gallery from now until March 15th.
