Connect with the culture of Japan through its signature beverage: sake. Sake is not a mere drink in Japan; it is deeply connected to Japanese culture. Explore the structure, history, and brewing of a selection of sakes from Japanese microbreweries presented by the Garden’s long-time partner Joto Sake. Japanese culinary art pairings will be provided by Chef Naoko, who has a perfect sense of pairing food with the selected sake.

VIP Tasting  5:00 pm – 6:30 pm 

VIP ticket holders are invited to an exclusive hour of tasting in the Yanai Classroom, which includes a presentation on the history and crafting of sake as well as a private tasting of a couple premium sakes. Doors open for the the VIP tasting at 5pm.

General Tasting   6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

General tasting ticket holders will enjoy these tastings and pairings in the beauty of the Cultural Village. Doors open for General Tasting at 6:30.
