O-Tsukimi, the Moonviewing Festival – SOLD OUT

Experience the romance and mystery of the Moonviewing Festival. Start the evening with a peaceful stroll through the lantern-lit Garden.

Take in authentic Japanese music including shakuhachi and koto harp. Shakuhachi will be played by musician and performer Alex Cooley. The koto harp will be perfomed by koto master Mitsuki Dazai.

Finally, observe a quiet tea ceremony in the Kashintei Tea House by presenters from Kashintei Kai Tea Society.

This year’s event will feature small bites by our new presenting sponsor, Afuri. Tickets include these delectables as well as sips of Jasmine Pearl Tea, Joto Sake, and Sapporo Beer.

Proceeds from Moonviewing support the Garden’s cultural and educational programming.

Thank you to our sponsors: Afuri, Presenting Sponsor; Snow Peak; Joto Sake; Sapporo Beer, The Jasmine Pearl Tea Co.

Please no tripods or flash photography.

Note that tickets are available for purchase at 8:00 am on the specified date.
