In conjunction with his first-ever North American solo exhibition, Refashioning Beauty, Noritaka Tatehana will discuss his views on Japan’s past, present, and future through the lens of artistry, craftsmanship, fashion, and identity within the context of the global now. Illustrated with meaningful episodes from his formative years, Tatehana’s lecture will explore the development of his philosophy on establishing artistic values and individual voice.
