DESCRIPTION:\n\nIkebana\, the Japanese art of flower arranging\, has been translated as “living flowers” or “the way of flowers.” Join us from 1:15-2:15pm for an ikebana presentation\,” Discovering Geometry in Ikebana: Tenen Chihou-天円地方” &nbsp\;by Tomoko Okuyama\, Rumiko Fadden and David Komeiji of the Saga Goryu Ikebana North American Branch in the Jordan Schnitzer Japanese Arts Learning Center.\n\nThe Saga Goryu School of Ikebana\, headquartered at Daikakuji Temple in Kyoto\, was founded more than 1\,200 years ago by Emperor Saga. It continues to draw on its traditional philosophical and spiritual foundations to interpret the modern world through floral artistry.\n\n\n
